Zacil Ha Cenote in Tulum Mexico

Visit The Cenotes Of Tulum Mexico

The Cenotes of Tulum Mexico are a must for any travelers venturing to this jungle paradise. We rented a couple of bikes from our hotel and headed for two of the cenotes in Tulum, Zacil Ha and Grand (Gran) Cenotes. The cenotes are natural fresh water pools carved into the ground by rainfall. Zacil Ha features crystal clear water and rocky ledges that make for an exciting jump. We were fortunate that we had this cenote all to ourselves. It is a little further out than the other cenotes, but worth the extra work. After we cooled off in Zacil Ha we biked back towards Tulum to our second stop, Grand Cenote. Grand Cenote is a cave offering up turqoise water and stalactites to admire as you swim around the pool, so don't forget your snorkel! (you can rent too if needed)
