1. On Foot

3. On a Boat

w/ Classic Harbor Line. From Chelsea Piers there are some fun cruises ranging from brunch around the island of Manhattan to shorter trips up to the Statue of Liberty and back. The cheapest option (ie free) to get up close to the Statue of Liberty is to take the Staten Island ferry roundtrip.
4. From The Ice

@ Wollman Ice Rink. There are a couple of ice rinks that open during the fall-spring months. If you have your own skates check out the rink at Bryan Park where you can skate for free. Remember a lock and your whole experience will be free.
5. Lookout From The Top Of The Rock
